SWAMP

State Children's Rally Saturday, March 5, 2010.

Mud and muck from early morning rains turned the camp into a true swamp for the "SWAMP 2011" state children's rally. 37 children ages 3 through third grade gathered together to FROG (Fully Rely On God). We learned Psalms 121:2, "My help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth." God did make everything. God made me and God made you. And God takes care of us. He gives us everything we need. We were also reminded that when we are scared, or lonely, or sick, or sad, or just having a bad day, God is there to help us out. What a simple lesson with such a great message for the youngsters and us as adults! God was awesome enough to make us and we need to rely on Him all the time!
