YOUTH ARE NEEDED! Your help is needed on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 9am-4pm. Please come to the Hus Encampment to help with the State Children's Rally. You can help with crafts, music, games, and just hanging out with children ages pre-K through 3rd grade from around the State.

Mission: Makeover. Mission accomplished.

     As we were setting up for the retreat Friday night, it looked like it was going to be a wet weekend. However, the Lord blessed us with beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures for Saturday.

     45 youth and 12 adults were filled with the Spirit as we worked together in Christian service. 12 boxes were filled for 6 soldiers who are currently serving, 36 goody bags were created for children at Fibi's home in the B/CS area, and many beautiful valentines were created for veterans.

     Remember that the Lord has gifted us. He has given us special interests, experiences, relationships, and talents, and He wants us to use those for His service. Not just by giving to the needy and vounteering for projects, but each and everyday. He wants all of us, all the time, sharing His love and sharing His Gospel.

     We have been equipped for His mission. We need to take that step in faith and reach out to those around us.

State Youth Fishing Retreat: April 30-May 2

This retreat is offered to youth ages 12-21. A salt-water fishing stamp is required on your fishing license.

Remember the number of participants is limited, so mark your calendars now and register early.
